Fans remember De Anna Pappas as the fourth Bachelorette in ABC’s hit franchise, but these days she’s busy at home with her family, husband Steven Stagliano and their beautiful daughter Addison, and, of course, watching The Bachelor and The Bachelorette.Since becoming a mother last year, Pappas admits that sometimes she’ll miss an episode here or there, but she’s very excited to watch season 10 of The Bachelorette, which starts on Monday. When I was the Bachelorette we went to, like, the Bahamas. When we caught up with 33-year-old, she gushed about the joys of motherhood (having Addison has “softened” her), how the iconic dating show has changed over the years, and her current partnership with Clear Blue pregnancy tests. We actually laugh now because they’re going all over the world!
It is so much bigger now, the travel alone, the clothes that the girls get to wear — not that my wardrobe wasn’t awesome, because it was.”What do you think of ABC’s choice to have two bachelorettes this season?
“I’m kind of bummed for them because I really loved my experience and I really appreciated my experience.
And I would have hated to have had to share that with another girl, so I’m bummed that they don’t get their own experience.
But they will always remember this, they’ll be able to share that and be the only ones to say they did it.”Are you team Kaitlyn or team Britt?
“I hate [having to choose], I think they’re both so awesome and great in their own way.
But I have to say, I’m a little partial to Kaitlyn.
I think as a viewer you start to pull for one person over the others and I was pulling for Kaitlyn [during Chris’s season].
I thought she was really funny, I thought she was herself, I thought she was really genuine, so I would love to see her end up with a solid guy that she likes and that she wants to end up with.
I think she was definitely a fan favorite.”You’ve been there, working on your relationship after the show.
